The basis for this Kaleider image was a metal grill that was sprayed painted
with bright colors. A L/R Cross Sliver Triangle Mirror was applied,
and the Mapping feature was activated with the (z+i)/(z-i)
Complex Variable Function. In this case, the Map Room Scenes
option had been turned on, and the Rooms feature was activated with the
Torus Room. The Room Roaming Pattern had been set to Outside
Central Spin/Up/Down so the observer is viewing the Torus from the
outside. (The Map Room Scenes option is turned off by default because
it can often create rather confusing pictures, but it can also sometimes produce
interesting, unusual results.)
