This Liquib Spikey Spiral Droste effect was rendered from a photo of a bookcase in front of a bookstore.  Some of the books on one shelf near the center were made transparent by using the GIMP graphics program.  The Droste Tool Spikey Spiral caused the remaining books to coil around that transparent area, ever diminishing to infinitesimal smallness.
