The Audio Player can play most of the common Audio formats (mp3, wav,
mid, snd, wma, etc. extensions), as well as Audio CDs. An Intro Audio
clip can accompany the Album Description, and an Audio file can be associated
with each Photo in an album. When an Audio file is available, an Audio
Player button will appear next to the Photo on an album page (if buttons are
visible). The Audio Player can also be accessed via a button on the
Navigation Bar, from the Popup Menu or by just typing M.
The currently active Audio file or CD track is shown in the upper caption, colored
according to the source: Yellow for album Audios or selected Audio files, Blue
for Audios from the active Play Directory and Green for CD tracks. When
accessed for the Intro Audio or a Photo Audio, that Audio file will be
set as currently active. Use the Select button to locate another Audio
file to play. A Play Directory containing Audio files can be specified
as the Audio source by clicking the Play Dir button (use Choose to
select a Play Directory). Click CD to begin playing an Audio CD
that is loaded into your CD/DVD drive. When the Random option is enabled,
Play Directory Audio files or CD Tracks are played in random sequence, rather
than sequentially.
Reset will initialize the Audio Player to the beginning of the current Audio source. Click Loop to continuously play the current Audio source. The play progress is indicated by a slider, and can be adjusted by moving that slider. The Left and Right arrow buttons will switch to the Previous and Next Audio file or CD Track when applicable. (Also, the keyboard commands Ctrl-Left and Ctrl-Right can be used for Previous and Next, and Ctrl-Down will pause/resume playing.) Click the M button (or the M key) to hide the Audio Player.
The Slide Show Configure screen contains options for controlling the Audio Player during a Slide Show.
