Phota 4.0
- New Features
Photo 4.0 was developed with a new compiler and converted to a different GUI
system. Among numerous other improvements, the 3D Gallery feature has
been greatly enhanced. Some further details below:
- Re-engineered Code => As with
Kaleider and Liquib, the Phota program code has now been
converted to utilize the excellent Ultimate++ (U++) application development
framework. U++ is a versatile set of open-source libraries and tools (BSD license),
created by an international team of brilliant developers. Further information and
download links are available at http://www.ultimatepp.org/. A different compiler has
also been used to build Phota, which should provide somewhat improved
performance.
- Gallery Improvements => The album images
shown in 3D Galleries
can now be exhibited within realistic Picture frames. The borders along
Gallery walls and doors can have the appearance of actual wood. The
Gallery Options screen
has been redesigned to allow selection of Gallery Doors, Frames and
Borders as specific images, random images or a chosen colors.
- Miscellaneous => Numerous minor
improvements have been made to the operation and appearance of Phota.
